During the Fall of 2010, Arc Surveying and Mapping, Inc. (Arc) performed a Bathymetric Study in conjunction with Bioimpact Inc. along a proposed cable route connecting the island of St. Thomas and St. Johns, USVI.  This investigation included the acquisition of Side Scan Sonar data along the proposed route, as well as bathymetric depth soundings, that were utilized to create a geo-referenced mosaic provided to the Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority.  This mosaic depicted the bottom surface material types, rock outcroppings, existing cables, pipelines and bottom debris which were utilized for the engineering design analysis of the proposed crossing.
