The dredging costs for this project were very high since the contractor had limited access, narrow and shallow tidal waters.
The excavated sediments were placed in containers and trucked to a disposal site.
Arc also performed the design survey many years previous for CH2M Hill and the City of Miami.
Cross-sections, probes and vibracore results were utilized to determine native bottom and the quantities of contaminated sediments to be excavated.
