The Galveston District US Army Corps of Engineers has provided a preliminary set of plans and specifications (For Information Only) for channel improvements in the Upper Reach of the Corpus Christi Ship Channel, Texas. Arc Surveying & Mapping, Inc. has imported the project core borings into an ArcGeoTwin 3D model providing a visual representation of the project borings at their respective locations.

In the model, a click on each boring will provide the original boring log. All data relative to the project can be imported into the model including bathymetry, seismic data, channel design, chemical analysis, etc. If a geophysical survey is performed, quantity calculations of material types may be located and quantified.
